---Trailer Compliance Plate Applications ---

TECH INFO

Prior to registration in Australia, most newly manufactured trailers with an Aggregate Trailer Mass (ATM) of 4.5T and over, require Compliance or Assessment plates issued by the Department of Transport. Suspension systems, axles & air systems must be combined and configured to suit a particular trailer's specifications (axle-group loads, aggregate mass, tyre size, etc.). Calculations or tests are required to determine the correct booster sizes, slack-adjuster lengths, etc. Evidence of compliance is submitted to DoTARS who then issue a Compliance Approval Plate for the complete trailer.

We specialise in preparing and lodging electronic (RVCS) compliance applications for both 'Full' volume and Low volume manufacturers -including many "one-offs" for owner-builders, operators, etc.
